- Varul Vilgerts Smaliukas Estonia announces three new partners – Leonid Tolstov, Martin Tamme and Vaido Põldoja.

- Varul Vilgerts Smaliukas was established through the merger of three Baltic business law firms—Advokaadibüroo Paul Varul in Estonia (established in 1994), Law Firm Vilgerts (established in 2008) in Latvia and Smaliukas, Juodka, Beniušis & Partners in Lithuania (established in 2007).
