Representing board member in landmark Supreme Court business prohibition case 3 March
Senior associates Martin Tamme and Vaido Põldoja represented a management board member in a landmark business prohibition case where the Supreme Court annulled the prohibition on business applied by lower courts.
The Supreme Court also gave a thorough explanation of the presumptions,
extent and requirements of applying business prohibition proceedings.
This landmark case is to determine future court practice – the Supreme
Court has given a profound explanation to partial amendments of its
former positions and detailed guidelines to be followed in all future
business prohibition cases.
