Successfully representing a group of former shareholders of Stora Enso Timber (formerly AS Sylvester) in the largest tax dispute in the Baltic States against the Estonian Tax and Customs Board, with tax claims amounting to EUR 45 million. The dispute concerned taxation of gains on sales of shares and the legality of an application of the principle of substance-over-form and the related constitutional rights.
