VARUL’s M&A team, led by senior associate Ramon Rask and associate Marion Sahtel advised vehicle tracking and positioning system developer Navirec in selling its Estonian operation to GSMvalve, a company active in the security services sector. The deal was closed on 1 December 2011. GSMvalve will continue offering vehicle tracking systems on the Estonian market under their brand and from now on Navirec’s eight employees will work for GSMvalve. Navirec has changed its name to Navirec Software and will continue developing software and exploring export markets.
