Dainius Zapereckas strengthens firm's tax practice in Lithuania Aug 18, 2010

Varul Vilgerts Smaliukas is pleased to announce that Dainius Zapereckas LL.M. has joined the firm's tax team. Dainius Zapereckas has considerable experience in advising clients on indirect and direct taxation (both local and international), due diligence reviews, tax disputes, mergers and acquisitions, designing tax-efficient structures for cross-border transactions and related tax planning issues. He also has considerable experience with transfer pricing issues, evaluating and preparing transfer pricing documentation and other related services.
Dainius Zapereckas represents clients in negotiations with the State Tax Inspectorate and has substantial experience in solving disputes both in out-of-court settlements and through litigation. In addition to his expertise in tax law, Dainius will also advise clients on various matters regarding corporate and employment law. Over the past nine years Dainius Zapereckas has worked for the State Tax Inspectorate under the Ministry of Finance, UAB KPMG Baltics and Sorainen law firm.
