Energy forum 2009 Oct 21, 2009
The publisher, Dienas bizness, in cooperation with the firm, the
Association of Latvian Energy contractors and Electricians, and the
Riga Energy Agency organized “Energy Forum 2009” on 5 November 2009.
The Forum dealt with current business issues regarding changes in energy tariffs, alternative energy, power stations, the impact of European and Eastern markets, energy efficiency and energy audits.
At the conference, the firm’s Partner, Gints Vilgerts talked about the legal aspects of energy project finance. He also addressed the question of the M&A aspects of energy projects, public procurement and public-private partnership issues, and analyzed other legal risks of such projects.
