Firm’s lawyers completed a study on the perspectives of establishing European Public Prosecutor’s Office May 12, 2011

Law Firm VARUL’s lawyers Paulius Docka, Ronaldas Kontautas, Dovile Svilaite and Greta Augutyte have completed a study “Perspectives of establishment of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office: position of Republic of Lithuania, legal and public policy aspects”.

The study was commissioned by the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania and supervised by the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Foreign affairs and the General Prosecutor’s Office as part of the project “Increasing efficiency of European Union matters in Lithuania”.

The study was approved as high-quality by the contractor and shall be used by the Lithuanian authorities in negotiations with the other members that have ratified the Lisbon Treaty.
