Lithuania aims to implement the EU Directive 2008/122/EC Nov 24, 2009
The working group, appointed by the Minister of Justice and chaired by
the patner of our firm Dr. Andrius Smaliukas, prepared the draft
legislative package aimed to implement the Directive 2008/122/EC of 14
January 2009 on the protection of consumers in respect of certain
aspects of timeshare, long-term holiday product, resale and exchange
contracts.
The new Directive shall have the impact on tourism industry and shall achieve a better protection of consumers.
