Senior Associate Lauri Almann was a speaker at the 3rd Summer School on
Network and Information Security „Privacy and Security in Future
Internet“, organised by the European Network and Information Security
Agency (ENISA) and FORTH (Institute of Computer Science) held in
Heraklion, Greece.
Lauri Almann was speaking on the panel „Reporting Serious Security Incidents“. In his remarks, he focused on the decision-making procedures in cyber-emergencies, the need to find a proper balance between voluntary and mandatory regulation in critical information infrastructure protection and the necessity to cooperate with the private sector. He was also touching upon the lessons learned from the 2007 cyber-attacks against Estonia.
