New lawyers join VARUL in Riga Feb 02, 2011
Due to increased workload in the areas of public procurement, litigation, restructuring, corporate and M&A, the VARUL Riga office hired three new lawyers in the last months of 2010.
The said lawyers are Katrīne Pļaviņa, Aleksejs Smirnovs and Jānis Kubilis. They all have an excellent academic record and are eager to pursue their careers in business law.
In 2010, the Riga office experienced an increase in workload by more than 45% in comparison with 2009 in key practice areas such as M&A, litigation, public procurement, competition and tax law.
