Senior Associate, Vaido Põldoja participated in a high profile state
aid conference, “State aid private enforcement” as a national
rapporteur for Estonia.
The conference was co-organized by Lexxion, Lovells and Concurrences/e-Competitions, and took place on October 19 in Brussels. The conference presented the results of the 2009 update of the 2006 “Study on the Enforcement of State Aid Law at National Level” drafted by Lovells and national rapporteurs at the request of the European Commission. The topics of the conference focused on private enforcement of EU State aid rules and the impact of national legislation. The keynote speaker of the conference was Competition Commissioner of the European Commission, Neelie Kroes.
