Senior Associate
Martin Tamme specialises in M&A and private equity matters and has been involved in all major M&A transactions of the firm in recent years. He is widely recognised for his work in some of the most complex court disputes, including a case against an incumbent railway operator regarding railway infrastructure usage fees, and the first compulsory demolition in Estonian legal practice.
He is one of the authors of the commentaries to the Law of Obligations Act, having written the section on enterprise takeovers. He has conducted seminars for law students of the University of Tartu on the general elements of the law of obligations and published articles on mergers and acquisitions. Martin Tamme has also been involved in drafting several legal acts.
Mr. Tamme is listed as a leading corporate and finance lawyer in Estonia by ‘European Legal Experts’, 2009 and recognised by ‘Best Lawyers’ for his corporate and M&A practice.
