Vadim Filimonov specialises in corporate finance, insolvency, environmental law and shipping & transport. His experience includes advising a publicly listed company on the issues of corporate finance, advising an international motor vehicle distributor on setting up a distribution network in Estonia, and consultation services on a major takeover in the environmental sector. Vadim Filimonov is also a valued expert in the field of gambling regulation and he has been involved in all the firm’s major cases in that area. He has a successful litigation record in several landmark cases in the areas of insolvency, construction and urban planning law and has experience of acting as an arbitrator.

Vadim Filimonov lectures on corporate and contract law and is the author of over 30 publications, mainly on corporate law, financial law and the law of insolvency. He has contributed regular reports on Estonian financial law to international editions, including the ‘IFLR 1000’.
