  • Advising an international nuclear energy technology company on complex environmental law issues related to nuclear energy. Legal analysis was related to the construction of nuclear waste storage facilities, the impact on the environment, planning and other issues connected with environmental matters.
  • Advising HC & R-IV projects on construction and environmental law. Successfully represented the client in a major administrative case, related to the cancellation of a construction permit.
  • Assisting the Latvian Ministry of the Environment in the preparation of international concession tender documentation, including a draft concession agreement, for the operation of a hazardous waste landfill in Zebrene for 20 years.
  • Representing Elva City Government in the first ever dispute in the Estonian Supreme Court concerning the key legal issues of organized waste transport competitions.
  • Representing Kiviõli Keemiatööstus in disputing an integrated environmental permit, representing the client in the process of acquiring an oil shale mining permit and disputes concerning the permit.
  • Advising a peat manufacturer Sangla Turvas on the sale of  excess CO2 contamination quotas.
